Livestock & Farm Water Solutions

Livestock & Farm Water Solutions

Animals drink on a schedule, not when the pressure happens to be good. FORWATER pumps keep water moving to troughs, drinkers, wash-down points and mixing stations — from a single barn to a full farmstead with several buildings.

Typical Farm Duties

Duty Typical requirement Recommended FORWATER range
Trough & drinker supply 20–35 m head, 30–80 L/min Jet pumps, booster pumps
Multiple barns / long pipe runs 35–65 m head PM80-E (up to 63 m)
Wash-down & cleaning High flow at moderate head SCM150-E / SCM200-E (130–150 L/min)
Mixer / process supply Steady flow, continuous duty Multistage centrifugal range (see technology)

What Farm Systems Need

  • Reliability over peak efficiency — a pump that survives dust, heat and long duty cycles
  • Suction capability — self-priming units lift from tanks, troughs and shallow wells up to 9 m
  • Serviceability — easy access to seals, impellers and capacitors so repairs do not stop the farm
  • Voltage flexibility — 110/115/127/220/230/240 V, single or three phase

Recommended Models

  • JET100L-E / JET100S-E — 50 m head, 62 L/min for trough lines and wash-down
  • PM70-E / PM80-E — brass impeller, 50–63 m head for long runs across the yard
  • SCM150-E / SCM200-E — high-flow household and farm booster pumps, 130–150 L/min
  • JPM60-400E — compact self-priming booster for outbuildings

Frequently Asked Questions

How many drinkers can one pump serve?
Work out simultaneous demand: dairy cattle drink roughly 60–120 L/day each, and a group often drinks together. Size the pump for the peak group demand in L/min, not the daily total.

Can the pump handle dirty or sandy water?
Our standard pumps are built for clean water and non-aggressive liquids. For sandy or dirty sources, fit a suitable pre-filter or strainer and tell us about the water so we can advise on the right model.

Is three-phase available?
Yes — three-phase versions are available on most models. Tell us your supply and we will confirm the configuration.
