What is the difference between the MH-170S models?
All MH-170S pumps share the same 170 L/min flow class; they differ in power and head — 1000 (25 m), 1400 (37 m), 1800 (50 m), 2200 (62 m) and 2800 (75 m). Choose by the total lift you need, then check the flow you need at that head in the performance table above.
Can it run dry if the tank empties?
The pump has water shortage protection with power delay start, which protects the motor in low-water conditions. It is not a substitute for a float switch on the tank, and we recommend one for unattended installations.
Is it suitable for drinking water?
The water-passing parts are 304 stainless steel, widely accepted for potable water systems. Confirm local requirements for your market before specifying.
