FAQ
Will 62 m of head be enough for a five-storey building?
As a rule of thumb allow 10 m of head per storey plus pipe losses. 62 m covers most five-storey installations; for taller buildings or long horizontal runs, step up to the MH-170S-2800 at 75 m.
What happens if the tank runs dry?
Water shortage protection with power delay start guards the motor in low-water conditions. For unattended systems we still recommend a float switch on the tank.
Can the pump run continuously?
It is designed for intermittent domestic and light commercial duty. For continuous process duty, tell us your hours of operation and we will advise on the right model.
